Cold Lake and District Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) strives to foster an engaged community of caring, compassionate people and healthy, happy families.
In partnership with the community, FCSS provides locally-driven, preventative social initiatives that aim to improve the quality of life for individuals and families. Provincially, the FCSS program receives its mandate from the Family and Community Support Services Act and the Family and Community Support Services Regulation pursuant to the Act.

The Cold Lake Cruisers Car Club recognizes the value of camaraderie amongst its members and automotive enthusiasts as a whole. We are a group of individuals with diverse automotive interests; no car is too old or new, all are welcome. Our motto is conservation and education. We work to promote the safe responsible handling of firearms as well as environmental stewardship within the Lakeland. Our goal is to foster goodwill between sportsmen, outdoor recreationists, landowners, and authorities. We promise to work with the government, industry and other organizations to support the enhancement, development and maintenance of habitat for all species of fish and wildlife in Alberta. We have our own 1/4 section of land which includes one of the best archery facilities in the region, as well as 25m, 75m, 100m handgun/rifle ranges and a shotgun bay with skeet throwers. Always willing to work with community partners on conservation efforts in the lakeland.
